The Gideon’s Men Ltd (GM Security) is a member of Tomosi Group, a holding company incorporating Public relations, Communication & events, Agriculture, construction, tourism, real estate and Security.
In 2006, when an opportunity to find work for hundreds of young people outside Uganda arose, GM Security was born to provide trained guards for deployment in the Middle East. Over the last 14 years, we have found work for over 10,000 young people who brought home annual revenue to Uganda’s economy of about USD60m. This has been achieved in partnership with a US based company Constellis (formerly Triple canopy Inc. USA), a global leader in security and risk management industry operating in over 40 countries.
GM Security is also a provider of Private security services in Uganda with a guard force of over 500 guards; armed and unarmed, deployed across the country, serving over 65 assignments in retail, real estate, hospitality, malls and construction projects.
Our Capabilities
A fully equipped emergency and rescue unit with a modern canine division and a professional security risk assessment team. We recognize Africa’s evolving security landscape and have built strong partnerships with government and corporate institutions in Uganda. We are also engaging key stakeholders across East Africa to secure critical installations in conflict-prone areas.
Our influence and reach
From the lowest to the highest Institutions of Government, Private and Commercial entities, GM Security has developed strong rapport and coordination to give our work better positioning. For example, we deployed 200 guards for a road construction company (Reynolds Construction Company/SBI) in the western part of Uganda within a month. In this, we insisted on recruitment, training and deployment of local people in order to establish good standing with the community.

There exists a strong management team behind the overall operation whose job it is to provide the interface management team. Generally, our management will meet the client on a quarterly basis to discuss performance and provide solutions or adjustments as are mutually agreed. There will be daily and monitoring of the staff is being carried out and to rectify any minor operational problems
